Julie is a lifestyle editor and consultant with nearly 20 years of experience in design media. Most recently, she worked as editorial director at Food52, Schoolhouse, and Dansk. Before that, she was deputy editor at Domino, where she oversaw cover stories, celebrity features, and hosted the Design Time podcast. Julie also regularly moderates panels and discussions on design.

Julie graduated from the Missouri School of Journalism and has held positions at Esquire, ELLE, Martha Stewart Weddings, and Cosmopolitan. Her writing has appeared in Architectural Digest, InStyle, Marie Claire, Apartment Therapy, House Beautiful, Glamour, and New York magazine.
